Recording Sales Information
Before you start producing invoices you will want to enter some brief information about what it is you sell. This can be as detailed or as broad as you like. For instance if you are a green grocer you could enter just two products: fruit and vegetables. Or you could be very specific and list: apples, pears, bananas, potatoes, parsnips, etc.
When you add an item to an invoice you can select from your list which product or service the item relates to. This allows you to that see which of your products or services are selling well and which aren’t at any time by running the useful ‘Income by Product / Service Report’.
The above report shows you how each of your products/services make up the total of your income for a given period. As well as comparing one product or service to another you can also compare sales of a specific product or service over a number of months and view the emerging trend by running the ‘Product / Services Sales by Month’ Report
