PayPal Troubleshooting – Awaiting Authorisation of Email Address

This guidance advises on what to do if you get the error PayPal connection timed out or login failed when importing PayPal Transactions.

Cause & Resolution

This error is caused by the button requesting authorisation requesting permission for KashFlow to access your PayPal account not being ticked. To correct this, please make sure that you’ve got permissions enabled as described in Step 1 of our PayPal Guide and then proceed to authorise the e-mail as described in Step 2 of our PayPal Guide.
