Another improvement to our accounting software based on feedback from our customers:
Due to continued improvements to KashFlow, developers and consumers of the KashFlow SOAP API should be aware of some changes we’re making to customer related fields. The following validation changes will be made live October 15th 2013, consumers of the API should make any required changes before this date.
Methods Affected
InsertCustomer and UpdateCustomer methods will be affected because of these validations.
Changes Introduced
The following changes will be made live;
- Customer Name cannot be empty
- Customer Name cannot be less than 2 characters
- Customer Code should be a valid one (alphanumeric only with no special characters) and spaces are not allowed
