Another improvement to our accounting software based on feedback from our customers:
We now have an Asset Register so you can keep track of all assets (vehicles, computers, etc) that your business purchases. The Asset Register also automatically works out depreciation for you and makes the relevant accounting entries.
Assets can be divided into different categories. These categories are set up in Settings -> Asset Register Categories
You can view the Asset Register and add items to it under the Tools & Reports tab.
If you have recorded purchases and set the outgoing type to a nominal code that’s configured as a Fixed Asset then the Asset Register will try to be clever by flagging this up and making it easy for you to add the purchase to the register
