Situated on the east coast of England in the seaside resort of Withernsea in East Yorkshire, Chartered Certified Accountants Southgates was established in 1981 by Stephen Southgate who, although now retired, still continues to offer his services on a consultancy basis.

The current partners are Antony Rookes FCCA who joined the practice in 1987 and became a partner in 1999 and Andrew Guy FCCA, MAAT who joined the practice at the age of 16 and worked his way through qualifying first as an Accounting Technician and then as a Chartered Certified Accountant. He joined Antony as a partner in 2011.

Working alongside the partners is a highly experienced and well qualified support team who are on hand to help with all the necessary compliance tasks as well as the additional value services that both businesses and private individuals require on a day to day basis.
