In 1982 George Hay Chartered Accountants opened up their second office in Letchworth Garden City in Hertfordshire. This helped to spread their reach from Bedfordshire into Hertfordshire.

Keith Middleton, Partner was the main person responsible for the setting up of the Letchworth office. Joining the team here are Martin Williams FCCA, ACA, who has been with George Hay since 1998 and is now the Audit Manager for the branch office, Partner Richard Dilley ACA, FCCA, who, with his vast experience, is responsible for auditing within the firm and helped to develop the Letchworth office. Also part of the Letchworth team are Caroline Hicks MAAT, Emma Wilsher ACA, Hayley Huckle (BA Hons) ACCA, Lyndsay Brewer (BA Hons) ACCA and Fiona Boughton ACCA. Making up the team are trainee accountants Daniel Wisby, Gary San and Oliver Jones.
