KashFlow and Cashplus to help small businesses manage employee expenses

Online accounting software provider KashFlow is partnering with Cashplus, a leading Fintech challenger to banks, to provide UK small businesses and sole traders with enhanced control of employee expenses.

Navigating employee expenses can be difficult for small business owners, especially if they’re new to employment and still unsure of how to deal these claims.

By partnering with Cashplus to provide Mastercard branded expense cards to their clients, KashFlow intends to simplify the whole process by giving small business owners complete control of their business spending as an extension of their existing accounting solution.

“KashFlow is built to simplify and streamline accounting for small business,” says Oliver Shaw, KashFlow CEO, “And by partnering with Cashplus, we’ve been able to extend our solution even further and offer employee expense management.

“With increasing business costs, including rising train and travel costs, and the cloud of economic uncertainty still overhead, this is a timely offer for small businesses with employees.”

Cashplus’s contactless business expense card can be used wherever the Mastercard logo appears – around 24 million locations worldwide. Business owners preload the card account with a set value for day-to-day business spend, removing the need for petty cash or the use of personal cards.

“One of the key benefits of the Cashplus card is that you can control how much staff members are spending,” says Oliver, “and you can use KashFlow’s reports to track your finances and make an informed business case when setting spending limits.”

“We’re delighted to be working with KashFlow to provide a practical solution, which will help their small business customers to improve visibility and control over expenses and be better prepared for Making Tax Digital” comments Nick Biggam, Cashplus Commercial Director.
