We’ve spent a lot of time doing a lot of work behind the scenes on bank feeds and this current implementation is our first steps into some great new functionality in KashFlow. Whilst this current implementation allows you to connect to your bank and import your transactions directly, replacing the CSV importer, this is just the foundation for the next steps which will allow you to do so much more.
We’re taking a phased approach to bank feeds because we want to deliver incremental improvements and new functionality to you as soon as possible.
The first step is was all about laying the foundations; connecting to your bank, getting the transactions, and posting them into the bank area in KashFlow. The second step, now completed, introduces ‘matching’ functionality allowing you to create invoices & purchases based on your transactions, and to assign those payments directly to existing invoices & purchases..
The Next Step
The next phase of development will introduce rules which will run and match everything imported, we’ll also introduce system logic that detects and matches intelligently.
