Set Access To Reports

The client software has a vast array of useful reports. From within Orbit you can remove access to specific reports.

There could be a number of reasons you’d want to do this. for instance you may want to run a client’s VAT reports and therefore remove access to those reports so the client can’t do it themselves.

Remove Other Features

Besides reports, there are a number of other features you can restrict or remove.

For example we integrate with a large number of credit card payment processors (“PSPs”). You may have commercial reasons for restricting access to just one or a handful of these. With Orbit, you can do that.

Transaction Locking

You can set an overall transaction lock so the client cannot edit any data before a specific date – for example, the end of their last financial year. You can also individually lock bank accounts in the same manner – perhaps up until they were last reconciled.

You can even set the system to automatically lock transactions after a VAT return or bank reconciliation has been processed.
