It really depends what business you are in!
  2. It can be a little bit time consuming at times to be honest but Tweetdeck and Hootsuite can help in automating some of the tweets. Twitter can be used for different things. Some just use it as a directory, some just to get interesting information on subjects they have a like it, some companies just use to to post links about their business all day. Dan Matthews has a good point about making the tweets interesting and not just all about business.

I've recently started tweeting, i have 2 accounts, one for work, and a personal one.
I used to get a bit annoyed when work people follow my personal one. Esp., as i'm likely to tweet and link to some stupid stuff in my personal life, and i feel i should be more conservative re my work.

I've decided not to care too much, if people don't like me they can always stop following.

I've just added an RSS feed from my site to one of my accounts, i'm hoping that will be good for seo.

I'm just discovering twitter and like blogging it helps if you follow / read interesting people. So who do you follow on Twitter that would be worth my while to follow? Or is twitter just a lot of noise that interrupts your day, feel free to let me know.

So far I've found the following notable people who's blogs I enjoy:

    Dave Winer
    Ray Lewallen
    Mike Gunderloy
    Jeff Atwood

In some ways, it’s the Who’s Who of Twitter — the Twitter Suggested Users list. These are the 241 people Twitter currently suggests that new people should follow. Below, a look at who makes it by categories, such as media or sports. Who’s getting Twitter’s love (such as the New York Times) and who’s not (say most other newspapers).
  8. There are a few pieces of software that you can use to automate your twitter account. The most popular ones to our knowledge are TweetDeck, Hootsuite and MarketSuite.

As for the question about twitter we do use it. It can be used to business and personal use. You tweet people with twitter (engage in some sort of dialogue).

Hi guys. Can can you automate auto twitting?

    Otmane EL RHAZI.
  11. You can use tools like Hootsuite and Tweetdeck to create schedule tweets. There are a number of other programs that do similar things but these 2 are most probably some of better know applications to do this.
