We've been looking around for an online POS system to use in our shop for some considerable time now. Whilst there are a few free ones out there, they're all a bit basic with poor functionality and a poor user interface. We recently came across a New Zealand company called Vend (http://www.vendhq.com/) which is subscription based, the same as KashFlow, and it looks really good. That is until we found out that it doesn't integrate with KashFlow. It does however fully integrate with Xero (a similar system to KashFlow). We would love to see an integration with Vend, as I'm sure we're not the only people looking for a cloud based POS solution. Both Vend and KashFlow have API's available, so the mechanism's there. It just needs a bit of technical time to do the integration. We're so taken with Vend, that we're considering the feasibility of moving from KashFlow to Xero, just to get a decent integrated POS system! Garry Stonehouse
Hi Garry, ePOS integration is something we're working on. And we're hoping to get Vend integrated soon. No expected timeframe I can give you yet though I'm afraid.
I am also using Vend, its a great POS system, I also would love to see it ingrate with Kashflow, I have tried Erply but found it way to bulky and complex and it only integrates with Quickbooks, Vend is the best online POS I have used, sadly like all the others they all seem to integrate with either Quickbooks or Xero, I know several users of Vend who would jump at the chance of using Kashflow but are stuck with using Xero.
