There are currently two very good ecommerce systems that come pre-integrated with KashFlow. They are Open Mind Commerce and Internet Retailer. If you use another ecommerce system (OSCommerce, Virturemart, etc) and would like to have your system integrated with KashFlow, do let us know. We will get add-ons developed if possible. We are already working on an add-on for OSCommerce. We know there is a fair amount of demand for integration with EKM Powershop. We have tried to speak to them about integration (by email, telephone and face-to-face) but haven't got very far I'm afraid.
Virtuemart would certainly be welcome but from what I've seen of the system so far you may have your work cut out for you if you use their SVN to build upon... I've never seen a more haphazard SVN development than the RC3 to final jump that took place when it was released. Course I'm about 3 months out of date now but just a word to the wise there.
Any chance that someone could point out any obvious examples of code that help generate invoices and records from ecommerce systems to Kashflow. I'm looking at one in particular now and would welcome a head start to reverse engineer to understand and then rebuild. Thanks in advance if anyone can.
if you could integrate both OScommerce (and, maybe, variations) and virtuemart, I am sure you would see a lot of sign ups. Across all forums, the question 'what accounts system can intergrate with ...' pops up on aregular basis. To have an accounts system with the developer releasing an integration option definitely shows a commitments to users, which, I believe, would be rewarded!

We have built an integration between Kashflow and VPASP. At the request of our client this is a sync tool rather than a 'live' integration. i.e. orders are processed at the end of a day rather than entered as they happen. We built this integration using a layered class approach. As long as we can access the back-end database we can adapt this to pretty much any eCommerce system (and god forbid... any other SOAP API enabled accounting system). It will be nice to have the ecommerce system integrated with Kashflow. Firstly I was wondering about this but since you are providing addons to accomplish this, I came to believe that it will work.
I'm working on an integration with Intespire Shopping Cart (Not BigCommerce as that's a closed SaaS system) and whilst I've got the import working from ISC to KF, I'm hitting limitations with being able to synch things after the initial import. I'm probably making a rod for my own back here but could any of the existing integration coders please offer a little input on how far their integrations have gone in terms of functionality. Are you offering two way synchronisation (full or partial) or simply a one way import of the type (into Kashflow) provided by the Paypal system?
