Hello everyone. First of all my name is Jaouad and I am new here. I have started a new company. It’s a web designers company. I have no employees because I’d like to be my own boss and i am responsible for my own Success. One of the benefits is that I am in Charge of my own Income All the projects are pretty mush small and simple web design projects. At the moment I am busy starting a new project. It’s a hosting project. All the website that my customers get, they can hosting it on my own servers. The question that I worried about is how i supposed to get more customers for my company. I did some promotion in the beginning with advertisement on the internet and handed out some business cards. Furthermore I tried some advice of my friend because they also got a company but didn’t help me. Then I went to the library to find some information in books and find things about promotion. But again I’m stocked. I got no customers yet. So if someone have any ideas for me how start on this subject, please let me know. I hope I’m clear about this subject an the question about it. Thank U
Keep trying. The field that you are targeting is pretty competitive it must be said. Suggest you try twitter, LinkedIn, networking groups, meetup.com (search for some relevant groups on there) Try some promotions on Facebook. You may need to offer a initial discount/offer on you service to get people to use you and from there hopefully they will give you reviews and possible referred business.
Jaouad, You have the place now though which you can deal with your customers so now don't waste time and start doing marketing your site. Do some Press Release and Article submissions with a link back to your site or mentioned in the resource box. Make sure your article is informative and reasonable so that it could make readers click the link. Submit your website to different directories under your category and do some bookmarking of your site. Then do some effective blog posts and comments with the keyword and link back to your site. Contribute your knowledge on forums and prove yourself as an effective contributor there. Join web designing forums, use signatures links back to your site. Since you are new with the business, in order to bag customers you need to generate the need in them and show as to why they should hire you. Market about your website on social media profiles. Forums and Blogs according to me are the best place to get quality traffic.
It is not easy to catch your targeted customers. Make some proposal, try freelancer markets or job boards and make attractive portfolio on Linked In. Maybe you get some potential customers for your company.
Yes it is really hard to get customer. Hope that customer find me. I'll pray that everyone got what he want.
